Sad about Brett & Julie, I thought they had so much more in them-- especially for Brett, because he didn't have a bad performance the other night. It's too bad. Not too thrilled about Scotty McCreery or Jacob Lusk, either, but I think we got a really good melting pot going on.
4 of my 5 Top 5 picks are still alive also, so I think I'm pretty accurate there, as well. I was just really off about Brett.

Maria, here's my predictions concerning how the top 13 will play out.
ReplyDelete13---Ashton I've tried to find a way to keep her around but I really can't. I even think that Naima is both a better singer and is more likeable that Ashton.
12---Naima - With Ashton gone and a third show for the eye strain of Naima's dresses to take effect on the audiences, Naima is sure to leave.
11---Karen - I think Karen is a good singer and deserves better, but she really has some negativity surrounding her. I'll put her out at 11.
10---Thia - A singer that is 15 but not a cute 15. she's rounding out the summer tour but not making a very big splash as a whole.
9---Stefano - The first boy to be knocked out, Stefano at #9.
8---Haley - Haley may build a following by now and not go out this early, but based on the limited vote info we have, 8 looks good for haley.
7---Jacob - I hope I'm wrong about this one. Jacob deserves to be a top three contestant. If he can find a way to look different every week he may stay longer, but if he does his niche .. he'll be gone even earlier than 7.
6---Paul - I think paul will wear thin. I think he'll become less likeable than some other contestants.
5---Casey - His quirkiness will be his undoing. It may even get him booted much earlier than fifth.
4---Lauren - Perhaps I'm giving her the same exit point as Ms. Iraheta purely by chance. Or perhaps it's by design.
3---james - James will only last til third if he takes the judges advice and sings a few songs outside of the metal genre. otherwise he's a 6-8 finish.
2 Pia - The shows most marketable female will lose out to the younger male.
1- Scotty-- County boy will not be denied. Scotty does what Archie was unable to do.
